A very nice fully working and usable as an every day watch. 
 
In great condition. 5cm (50mm) across the case. Size 16s.
 
A nice sterling silver half hunter case and in good condition. The signed Dennison case has no major scratches or dents, it does have some minor marks and very light scratches, it has a small "flat" to the side at V, 5  O'clock. and a corresponding ding to the front cover. It is fully hallmarked for Birmingham 1928.  The front and rear covers open to 90 degrees, good hinges, minimum signs wear. Front cover pops open with a depression of the crown, as it should. Black enamel inlaid Roman Numerals around front window.
 
The dust cover has a personalised inscription. "To W F Bond as a token of appreciation 1924-1929 from Major  E Atkins M.C."

The dial is bright and clean, has a small repair to a foot "blowout" at X, 10 O'clock. Roman numerals. Blued steel hands.
 
The movement is a Swiss made 17 Jewel. The movement is by Revue Thommen Recently fully serviced including modern alloy "unbreakable" mainspring. Tested, runs well and keeps good time.
 
Presented in a luxury and strong metal framed pocket watch case. The case is padded faux leather and fitted with dense velvet covered foam, recessed to accommodate the watch and a chain.
 
Great for wedding, graduation, retirement, Christmas, Fathers day or birthday present. A very nice piece.

Servicing is defined as the piece being disassembled, cleaned, inspected and adjusted if necessary. It is then re-assembled and correctly oiled, timed for accuracy and adjusted if required. The mainspring will be replaced with a modern alloy type and the piece will be bench-tested for at least one day.
 
Statement.
 
I restore all of my watches to a fully working condition. It is my aim to provide a watch that is not only running but working to a usable state. My watches can be worn and used for their intended purpose on a daily basis. The time keeping should certainly be within +- 5 minutes per 24 hours but I aim for +-3 or better.
