A nice Waltham 17 jewel gold filled full hunter. The case is a Wadsworth "Rambler" 10 year guaranteed (from date of manufacture) each part is made from 2  plates of gold with a plate of composition between them, vastly superior to electroplating which only deposits a very thin layer of gold. 
 
50mm (5cm) across case without crown. Size 16s.
 
The case is clean and bright, in good condition. All hinges are in good working order, the front and rear covers open to 90 degrees, all covers open and close well. Front cover pops open with a depression of the crown. Good condition case, only VERY small insignificant marks, no signs of wear, some minor marks inside some covers and a small circular mark inside dust cover. 
 
The dial is bright and clean, no hairline cracks or chips, signed "Waltham USA". Roman Numerals, blued steel hands.
 
The movement is a Waltham 17 Jewel 1908 model, damascened,  adjuster star, running well and keeps good time. Dates to c1925

Servicing is defined as the piece being disassembled, cleaned, inspected and adjusted if necessary. It is then re-assembled and correctly oiled, timed for accuracy and adjusted if required. The mainspring will be replaced with a modern alloy type and the piece will be bench-tested for at least one day.
 
Statement.
I restore all of my watches to a fully working condition. It is my aim to provide a watch that is not only running but working to a usable state. My watches can be worn and used for their intended purpose on a daily basis. The time keeping should certainly be within +- 5 minutes per 24 hours but I aim for +-3 or better.
